  • foster co-operation between the various financial services stakeholders, including practitioners, academics, industry, regulators and government.

FSLA Corporate membership boosted by Merrill Lynch and Dresdner
FSLA has seen a steady flow of corporate membership applications in recent months including from in-house lawyers at financial services firms such Merrill Lynch and Dresdner Kleinwort IB. 
Existing corporate members include law firms, chambers, banks, insurance firms and other firms in the regulated sector. For a full list of corporate members see the list under 'members'.

Barclays General Counsel joins FSLA Board
Mark Harding, Group General Counsel at Barclays, has joined the Advisory Board of FSLA. 
As group GC Harding has responsibilities which cover retail, commercial and investment banking at Barclays. Before joining Barclays in the Summer of 2003 Harding was a senior partner at Clifford Chance and had spent a period in house at UBS.
Harding joins Simon Dodds of Deutsche Bank and Brad Gans of Citi on the Advisory Board.
