An afternoon of open discussions and presentations with the following speakers:

- Dame Juliet Wheldon QC (Chief Legal Adviser, Bank of England)
- Mr Andrew Whittaker (General Counsel to the FSA Board)
- Mr Sumeet Desai (Senior Economics Correspondent, Reuters News)
- Professor Eilis Ferran (Professor of Corporate and Securities Law, University of Cambridge)
- Mr Richard Hitchcock (Host, Outer Temple Chambers)
- Mr Carlos Conceicao (Secretary's Report)
- Mr Andrew Onslow QC (Treasurer's Report and Accounts)
The speakers will address, from their perspectives, the fallout from the credit crunch, how it is being dealt with and changes, both actual and desired, to financial services regulation.
Drinks
From 5.30pm there will be a drinks reception in the Strand, Fleet and Bell Rooms.
Bringing matters before the meeting
FSLA's rules state: 'No member, save with the permission of the chair of the meeting, may bring any matter before the [Annual General] meeting unless, 14 days prior to the AGM, he has given notice in writing to the Secretary of the substance of the matter which he wishes to raise at the meeting.' Should any member wish to bring a matter before the meeting, please contact Carlos Conceicao in writing prior to May 6th.
