Bank Charges: Legal Issues & Industry Implications Print
Thursday, 13 March 2008, 5:45pm - 8:00pm

Following hot on the heels of the recent High Court test case between the Office of Fair Trading and the major banks, FSLA is pleased to present a panel presentation on this topical subject. Should the courts assess unauthorised overdraft bank charges for fairness? Could this litigation bring an end to "free" retail banking? Come and hear a panel of speakers from both sides of the debate give their views and answer questions on the legal issues and on the potential implications for the banking industry.

Afterwards, the winners of FSLA's inaugural essay competition, on the subject "Bank Charges: Are they fair?", will be awarded their prizes.

Doors will open from 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start, with drinks served from 7.00pm.
